We believe that electrification is the key to fulfil the net zero pathway by 2050, through the replacement of fossil fuel-dependent technologies with electric alternatives such as storage water heaters or heat pumps.
Unfortunately, more than 40% of households in Portugal are still dependent on LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), and at the current electrification annual rate, the country will not be able to meet the net zero objective in time, at least not in the building sector.

This initiative is dedicated to developing and implementing a scalable business solution to replace bottled gas with electric alternatives based on renewable energies, addressing significant obstacles in Portugal and other key regions.

Budgeting to Maximize Savings and Reduce Investment Costs
End-consumers must be able to understand the cost/benefit relation of adopting electric technology and to calculate the real savings they may obtain, in order to change their habits.
Smart Energy Lab will show how to reduce the initial investment costs by up to 20%, and the payback period by as much as 6 years, effectively promoting electrification.

Energy Use Optimization
Power restrictions are one of the main obstacles that consumers face when transitioning to electricity. Simply increasing contracted power may not be the best long-term response.
Our solution reduces the pressure on the electrical grid, offering services like peak shaving, and load shifting, allowing consumers to manage tasks like cooking and showering simultaneously without increasing contracted power, and even reducing bills by up to 10%.
